I caught the State of Tomorrow - Episode 2 this weekend. It triggered my Texan pride, that the people you focused on just represent the best of the Texas spirit of being independent, helpful and highly resourceful. That's something about the culture of Texans that I really consider the ideal that I want to aspire to represent myself.

The show was great last night! Every time I watch it I end up thinking - wow! That's why I love PBS. The other night I was watching PBS as I often do and just HAPPENED to catch your show - State of Tomorrow. I was so excited to learn about the Proton therapy at MD Anderson. All very interesting and you guys did a great job! Congrats - you have a fan!

I very much enjoyed last week's episode and I'm looking forward to the
one for this week. I was impressed with a number of the shots, especially
those that seem very difficult, or at least unlikely, to capture. For example,
birds flying in certain ways that really complemented what was being spoken.
I could sit around with a camera for a full day and not catch a shot like that,
but your film was full of those kinds of images.
And the cancer facility — I had no idea of the extent of the treatments going
on. It seems, with the focused cancer-killing technique, we are closer to
finding a cure than I thought. I wonder why those kinds of techniques aren't
more well-known? I think people would be more willing to support cancer research
if they knew the progress being made. At least you are definitely doing your
part, so thanks for the enlightenment! I'm looking forward to this evening's show.
